A Guide to the method of undergoing the Advanced C and UNIX Course:

===================================================

First off, finish the Audio sessions in the 1st Volume ( up to the Session 30 ).  You may get a doubt or two in the UNIX operating system topics.  You can either check the Question Banks in the Question and Answer Autioware and listen to the answer    OR   you can hold off till you start the 3rd volume.  Most of your current doubts should get cleared by then.

The second volume ( up to Session 56 ) needs periodic forays into actually writing C programs and running in a Linux system ( like Ubuntu OR Redhat  — available as free licenses on the net ).  These lab exercises should also be supplemented by a rigorous, deep studying of all the sample C code given in the Labware pages.  Note that there is no Audio available for these.  ( The labware pages that describe the File system blocks is only meant for a cursory glance to get an idea of how the Unix File management system stores files into hard disk partitions.  You can ignore any vague doubts about this as they will get cleared when you hear Session 66.

The third volume lab work is a continuation.  By this time, you must have completed the General Question Answers and C Question Answers.  UNIX Question Answers can be heard after completion of 3rd volume.  Third volume also needs a lot of C programming exercises ==> These should improve your UNIX internals understanding as well as C programming skills.
